It might not be worth it power wise, but the electric cutouts are worth every penny I paid! My truck is like a Dr.Jeckyl MR. Hyde now. You won't believe how bad *** the cam sounds loping with the cutouts open. I would say if you are going to do the cutout, look around for someone selling an electric plate. There is no way I could get under my truck to open them with my 3/4 drop. The only downfall to my cutouts is that I got them coming right out of the headers, so they are extremely low to the ground! It has made me a much more cautious driver!

I have a 4"6" drop and i can still get under my truck. I was just wondering if there was ANY power gain by doing a cut out? A friend of mine did a cut out on his 2000 4.8L and he noticed a differance on his, I didnt really notice that much but then a gain I dont drive it everyday. I was just wondering if it was worth the $20?? I can get a regular cut out for $20.

I was going to go get mine put on tomorrow morning. Its only going to cost me $20. I just wanted to know if it would be worth spending to $20 to get a little more power. Some people have told me it doesnt really do anything but make it louder. I apreacite the offer bro, that is very thoughtful. Is yours just a reagular cut out, non electric??

Well all i can do is try it out and see what happens. If i dont like it I can always just take it off. My friend owns the Muffler shop so I get hooked up pretty damn good. So ill try it and see what happens. Thanks for the help and info!!!
