custom intake manifolds and headers

Has anyone made their own intake manifold or headers? if so where can i find flanges, or is milling my own the only option? looking for designs on any engine platform.

Yes you can buy flanges, have you checked Summit? They probably have what you're looking for...

Stainless works sells exhaust flanges as does Burns Stainless but have your checkbook ready

GM even has header flanges available for those who wish to fabricate their own headers.
