Corsa Exhaust Question
#1
I just had my Corsa sport exhaust system put on today.
Love the sound, looks, and power increase.
Though I do have a question about the actual kit. I thought that the kit for my truck was supposed to be like the factory exhaust.
Factory exhaust stays true dual from the motor to the muffler, then comes out two and Y's into one out the right rear side.
The Corsa kit Y's into one intermediate pipe after the two cats, then goes into the muffler one and out one, then of coarse goes into a Y'ed stainless tip.
I thought it was supposed to stay dual all the way to the muffler, then go out one.
Anyone have my same Corsa sport kit on their VHO or SS truck?
Is it the same as I described above?

For all of you interested in a Corsa kit, go with the sport kit.
I really can't imagine going any quieter. My sport kit is only heard at load and at wide open throttle. At load it's not all that loud really. When you first crank your motor, you will hear it. Once it warms up, you don't hear it at idle unless you stand by the tips. At wide open throttle it really lets you know it's there.
At cruising speeds I don't even hear it. If you had your radio off, AC off, and windows up, then you will hear it a little.
I really can't imagine how much quieter the touring kit is. I would probably not have liked the touring kit. The sport kit is not even all that loud. WOT is the only time it really sings.....and it does sound good.
On the performance stand point, it deffinately gives more HP/ TQ.
I could feel the difference. Better throttle response and more low to mid range grunt.
Oh yeah, the looks of the big dual side exit tips are great too.
I definately recommend the Corsa "Sport" kit!
I recommend purchasing from MTI (Motorsport Technologies, Inc.) They had the lowest price when I shopped around. I also learned that they are very nice informative people to speak with too.
PM me for pricing info if you want.
Thanks,
Jim
