Ya your right parish. You must take apart the whole transmission to put in a new output shaft. The parts are cheap but it is a lot of work. Thats why I am looking to trade or just buy a 2wd tranny. Easier. I will try to post some pics sometime. Later.

Ouch man,Yeah I have bridgestone dueler AT's not much of an off road tire when things get wet. Although they make it fun to charge hills in 2wd to seeing how high you can get before fishtailing around.
