im know this has been asked a thousand times, but i havent found a strait answer.
i want to get this cam for my 5.3. other than putting in the LS6 springs, will i need to change anything else...(push rods, computer,...etc.) and how much will it affect my truck...(hp/tq , noise,...etc.)
do yall think this is the best cam for what i want, just a daily driver street/track and pull trailer 1 in a blue moon.

Well Dutch, I can't give you a strait answer from experience, yet... But I can make an educated guess.
This cam will have good mid / upper rpm power. I doubt that you will lose any power in the very low rpms, but you wont see much benefit there. Most of the gains will be at 2500+ rpms. I would say that you will see close to 40 HP increase in your 99 5.3 truck. It would compliment headers very well. Lets say this - When you are getting on the freeway and punch it, you will be smiling.
This cam is very similar to my LS6 cam in lift. All I did was use LS6 springs. No pushrods. You will need a few misc items like gaskets, but no other "upgrades".
I have a comp 212/218 that I hope to install within the month. I will let everyone know my thoughts after I get thet done.
