Yeah the outlet looks identicle to the muffler on my 05 Tahoe.

 

Good info!!! always wanted to see inside a stock muffler

 

The chamber in the rear is not just for looks, it did serve a purpose as a resonance chamber.

I'm not having any luck talking my dad into cutting the exhaust off his 2010 Silverado.

So...........no more pics for awhile!

 

I cut a single in single out one open from my 04. It looks worse inside than this one as far as restrictions go. I removed a few things and rearranged a few things inside and that helped out some. It has some sound to it, flows alright, but still fairly quiet. Much quieter than my dual slp loudmouth I's. After rocking this quiet system for the past year, I am about to throw my duals back on.
