Default Clatter in the exhaust Y pipe

I've had pacesetter long tube headers and an ORY on my truck now for a few months. Something i've noticed when I hit the gas is this "clattering" sound up front. It sounds like there is a midget grimlin inside the Y pipe making these little clattering sounds by tapping on the inside of the pipe with something. It's not really loud or anything, just anoying. I'm assuming that's just the exhaust gases bouncing around in the Y as it exits towards the muffler, but I just wanted to make sure. I'm using the pacesetter ORY, for informational purposes. The next question is, are there any solutions for eliminating that stupid clatter?

Oh, and I don't hear it at idle or at cruise.

Have you checked to see if the y-pipe touches the cross member under your truck. My brother in law put a set on his truck and it was barely touching the cross member and rattled sometimes when he gave it gas, but it wouldnt do it all the time. Just something to look at.

10-4, i'll check that first. If it is hitting, maybe I can bend it up a tad or something.

Mine was doing that, I just took a big screw driver and bent it just enough it would stop rattling

Was your hitting on the cross member?

Mine was touching the shield that covers the trans, I just bent that shield a lil. Mine never touched the cross member

I crawled under the truck and checked out the Y. Well, the trans shield was touching, so I bent it out of the way. Bad news is, the transmission pan AND the crossmember are hitting the Y as well, and they are TIGHT. If I knock the Y off the cross member, i'm going to push it closer to the pan. And vise versa. WTF do I do now? knocking the transmission shied out of the way didn't fix it.
