Hey i am about to install an sts turbo kit with the gt67 and fmic. I have a ses light on and if i remember right it was coming from the rear pass. side o2, my question is..
What will be the sound difference with the sts turbo without cats as opose to having cats?
What will be the performance difference?
If i do gut the cats can i delete the rear o2 sensors?

The truck will be alot louder with deleted cats. Most add a muffler after deleting the cats. It will also spool up and hit full boost about 300-400 rpm faster. You can delete the rear o2s if you delete the cats.

If you decide to kill them. Do not just gut them. Sleeve them or get rid of them completely. Since your FI, might as well just get rid of them.
