Mine would drive fine until I went wot then it would loose power. It takes about 45 minutes to unbolt the y-pipe. Then you can pull it out and look at the cats.

They make a pressure test gauge for testing restriction. Some muffler shops may have it.

If you have the stock y-pipe just unbolt it and take a look it takes all of about ten mintutes max to unbolt it. With the power you are making I would get some high flow ones anyway are just cut them off like you were talking about another thread.

You can also use a vacuum guage hooked in to manifold vacuum. Run the engine in P or N and observe the guage (in P it should be steady...reading will depend on the size of your cam...anywhere from 16 to 21, 22 in/hg is normal). When you snap open the throttle vacuum will go down (0 at WOT). If you hold it around 2k it should stabilize a bit. What you need to check for is when you close the throttle after holding it at 2k...the vacuum guage should jump up to over 20 in/hg after you snap the throttle shut....if it creeps up slowly, you have an exhaust restriction.
