It goes inline between the PCV valve and intake manifold and catches oil that is sucked up through the system.

I have the same question as TheLadiesMan...which catch can do you have?

Default Accurate Machine Works

Go To Accurate Machine Works.
See some info and pics HERE.

I started the post because I could not be positive about the PCV location. Turns out there is no check valve anymore. Just a fixed orifice.

Some guys tried a compressor water separator but it clogged.

For the price, you would have to be a machinist to appreciate what it would take to setup and turn them out. A nice piece of work that could have been flimsier if were designed by a hack. For the time I would spend running around trying to do a home maid unit, it is just plain easer to order one, and probably would not look or work as good.
The pic shows it mounted but not hooked up yet. I went ahead and got the bracket. It is not plastic and just as cleanly made as the can. I made the "L" bracket amd mounted it to the brake cylinder mountiong bolt.

I also hear if you run Synthetic oil it helps too, I am running Mobil1. Hmmm?

The valve is in the driver's side valve cover, and the vacuum line goes to the top of the intake.
