Exclamation cant get back to stock from superchips program

ok...so i tried to deprogram my truck back to stock in prep for my radix. wont let me and gave me a "checksum mismatch" error. called superchips, sent it off and they said they would take care of it. got it back today expecting no probs whatsoever...and its doin the same thing. i had plans on re-selling this once its off of my truck...but all i want now is to have it stock and use the programmer as target practice. anyone got any ideas? can the gm dealership do anything?
please advise

I don't think that you can resell that Superchips programmer but I could be wrong. You can have the dealer reflash your pcm but it will cost you some dead presidents. Maybe Blownchevy will chime in since he used to install the radixx SC a lot, he might know more.

on a programmer that works 100%....you can program and deprogram it as much as you want. and u can resell it after you deprogram it bc your vin# is taken out of the programmer and it is as good as new.

Is it the programmer that comes with the radixx? If it is, that one you cannot resell. My Superchips locks the vin#.

if it is the one that comes with the radix you probably cannot sell it back. the tune is made for truck with the radix on them. you would have to sell it to someone that already has the superchips tuner, and that probably wouldn't work. even if you wanted to returnt he truck PCM back to stock you are better of just getting whatever kind of tune you were. assumably you are going with a custom tune, then you would return the PCM to the tuner and they would reflash it for someone else to use.

Hmmm, sounds like the programmer forgot your original file and/or lost your VIN number. That code is usually generated when you try to use it on another vehicle without clearing the internal VIN lockout.
Try Superchips one more time and make sure to send them your VIN if they did not ask for it the first time.
