I tought the wider LSA (114+) is better suited for a power adder like nitrous and a tighter LSA 112 or less was better for N/A aplications?? And since you will be running nitrous... shouldn't a wider lsa work better for him?

How high should you take that cam in 112 VS 114? (as far as shift points)

FIND YOUR OLD TRUCK AND GET THAT DAMN TRANS

thought you were going with a radix? NItrous is fun but a MAJOR PITA to have to refill all the time and worry about bottle pressure etc etc

im pretty sure the greater split in duration makes the most difference when it comes to nitrous and FI as opposed to n/a. wider LSA brings peak torque higher in the rpm range but it also causes it to be a little less. wider LSA also broadens the power band.

I know, I know! Im sure it is long gone by now though...

I wanted to upgrade to the level 5 anyways so thins gives me an excuse to do it!
I dont have the $$$ for one right now BUT.....I do have $100 for a warranty deductable I may have to alter a few things to get a brand new *stock* tranny before I throw a cam and stall in it, then put a vette servo and a transgo in that and baby it till I get the cash for an FLT. I dont think it would fly if they heard a gnarly lope coming from under the hood, but with what I have now, no sweat.

...as for the radix, I figured out how to go faster for cheaper. But when th 6.0 get dropped in, it with either be built for a 250 shot or for a radix/turbo.

I still am up in the air on nitrous for the 5.3....but my TC got here today and the cam shouyld be here next week, on a 112.

6400 for the 112.
can't speak for the 114 but i'd say no higher than 6500.
