yea they were pretty tight. when i was turning the engine over earlier they looked a little close. i dont want to put it back together and it be wrong and have to take it apart again

cam retainer bolts to the timing chain sprocket but they werent hitting. im taking out the rad right now. going to pull the cam just to be safe i guess. i hate this crap

yeah oyu may have gotten them mixed up if one set is longer than the other I cant remeber off the top of my head if they are different lengths.

trust me they are different lengths. do you think i should pull the cam or not? the retainer, sprocket or bolts they dont have any markings on them. that cam just dont look right coming out. i can see the first couple lifters and they are not as high as i would like them to be.

I would pull the cam cause obviously its been bouncing aorund in there.

cams out. all the lobes look the same to me. think i should put it back together. im about to climb in and look down the block at the lifters ill brb
