Default Can a crew cab 5.3 be fast? Apparently not

Has anyone seen a crew cab 5.3 that is remarkably fast? I've spent near $6k on mine and only ran 15.7 last night. 8psi sts, 2800 stall, fuel pump, injectors. Left the line @ 4-5 psi boost. Is the truck just too heavy?

Needless to say, it WILL go fast eventually. Just pissed off right now.

check sierracrew out. hes is running 14.2 na. and thats with wheel spin. something must be wrong with yours if you have a sc and you're running that slow. i would check into your tune.

I have an ext cab z71 it should weigh close to yours, Ive run consistent 9.00 in the 1/8 Im expecting better times with a cutout, new tune and weight reduction that should plant me in the 13's NA. Something is wrong with your setup, are you running 93 do you have alot of kr i agree with kbobo something is really not right and its probably in your tune. You should be in the high 13's at least

Something is serously wrong with your set up. I agree, you should in the high 13's to low 14's.

Blownchevy just ran 13.7 in his s/c 5.3 crewcab. You tuning is probably the problem.
