that's the cam that was in my 2011 6.2 VVT.
they say it will wake up a 5.3 VVT it's a PNP.

Yeah I read about cam upgrading a bit.. The one off the 6.2 would be about the best with its short duration for low end torque and mild lift of. 500 in/ex for increase performance across whole HP curve. 115 lsa, I'm gonna keep stock manifolds for now. Will help to keep my low end torque. I'm just wandering if ecm will adjust for it... Or not?

No, any camshaft swap requires tuning like I already said.

If you like waiting and maybe getting stuff done in a timely matter, use blackbear as your tuner.

Otherwise learn it yourself with HP Tuners software or find a local to tune it.

No matter what you do you'll need to invest in a wideband o2 sensor gauge to make tuning far easier for you or whoever does the tuning.

Will I have to degree the OEM l9h cam or just line up the dots. And would I have to change the chain tensioner or keep mine?? 2010, 4.8 L20, vvt, flex fuel, no dod.

If anyone needs a 2010 l9h cam, I have one as I just did a cam swap 2 months ago.
