Default cams specs?

Doesn anyone know what the specs are for a stock 98 ls1{z28] cam is and what mine are for my 2000 5.3. I sold the 2001 z06 cam because of people saying i would lose too much down low. I have this z28 cam sitting here doing nothing and thought since i dont have to change the springs, that i might throw it in. I know the probably isnt a bid difference but it is laying around.

Do a search in the internal engine section. If no luck there, search it over at LS1. It will have more duration than your 00 cam, but probably not much more lift. I personally don't think it would be worth your time. You don't even need to change the springs to run it.

Man, been there done that. Don't even waste your time cause it'll suck. And it's a 201/212/500/500 with lobe centerlines at 122/117 and a crappy LSA of 119.5°.

Honestly, mine wouldn't even power brake at all with it in there and I only got a slightly noticble top end gain.

Yes sir I did. I honestly held the gas pedal to the floor for several seconds while holding on the brakes and it wouldn't even spin. Normally at half throttle it would set there and roast the tires off. I had to turn around and put the stocker back in to get the power back. Big waste of time for sure.

I think if it had the 112-114 LSA like the aftermarket cams it would've helped but with that rediculous 119.5, it pushed all the power up to about 5500 rpm's and up. Below that it was just a dog.
