Default Disconnecting sway bar?

Can anyone fill me in on exactly what to do, by doing the sway bar disconnect to go to the track. some people at the track have had improved 60fts. by just disconnecting it. Well do i have to take it off completely or just undo it from each side of the truck?. im looking for any little thing to improve ET and 60ft. so any info will be a great help. thanks Justin

I think the idea is to allow the front to lift more, which means more traction.

If it's not too hard to completely take it off you would also be saving a few pounds so do that.
