Default Camming a 6.2 w/VVT

I'm ready to cam my truck and want to hear some feedback from others that have cammed the VVT 6.2s and kept the VVT feature. Mainly who's cam you went with and what kind of numbers you got.

My goals are to hit 400-420rwhp and not raise the powerband any so that my low end torque increases and at the same time the transmission won't be taking a beating.

After TSP's post in the Dyno forum I was really leaning that way but now am contemplating getting a custom cam through Patrick G after reading some of his posts on tuning the VVT tables and LS3/L92 head cam selection. He really knows what he is talking about.

Also, CNC'd LS3 heads are pretty cheap, was thinking about doing that at the same time. I konw this would have an effect on cam selection as CNC'd LS3/L92 heads mainly have work done on the exhaust side so the split in the cam wouldn't need to be as severe. I just wonder if the gains would be significant, worth the extra 1300 or so. I don't think I'd have to worry about the powerband being altered since it seems most programs out there aren't increasing the intake port size, just cleaning it up and putting a good valve job on that side.

Anyway, that ended up being kind of long. What cams have you guys used and with what results?
