My cam is slightly smaller than that TR220 and even in my 6L (no TB hole), it loped along and died when I was trying to get it to idle. Without tuning, it would drive me nuts.
Blownchevy's cam has a small intake duration, a big duration split and very wide lobe seperation. That will make idle a non-issue.

I didn't realize they erase all previous data. Just figured they adjusted what was there.

I had to drill in a small hole in mine to run my comp cam cause it would idle fine until the engine got hot. Once the engine was hot and in a drive gear, it would run fine, but in park or neutral it would die.

Weird, I would have thought it would die in drive rather than park or neutral. Usually the RPMs go up some when in park or neutral vs drive.

Yeah, well granted this was with a makeshift tune by a sponser whose name will go unmentioned until I could get to Allens for my proper nelson tune. but yeah. I have heard though that you can get it to run properly with a drive by wire tb if you have it ported without having the hole. I've got one in at Shaners right now testing this theory. I'll let ya'll know the results once I get it back.
