Sorry buddy but that is kinda a blanket statement. The peak TQ will be less and the peak HP significantly less.
The lobe patterns are significantly different. The 220 XER lobe is considerably more aggressive then a 220 XE high lift lobe and cannot be compared in the same ball park. Since it is just the .050 duration, take a look @ the duration @ .006 and .200
Also when the valve events are taking place, make a big difference.
Still feel your best bet would be a XFI 214/218 or LSL 215/219 on a 110 LSA and the ICL depending on what you want your DCR to be.

But i would like to keep it some what simple lol
Im ordering my convertor tomorrow 3200 circle d
And i have narrowed it down to pretty much the xr265hr 212/218 on 114 or the tsp220r 220/220 on 112
Mainly because ive done a bunch of home work on both cams and they both seem to work really well

I would agree with you if we were talking about a truck with better heads and shifting higher. However, the torque made from 3000-4500 rpm will be significantly better vs the tsp220r. The peak torque will be a difference of what 2-5% and peak horsepower will likely be what 2-5%?

Those are two very different cams.
If you don't trust us then go with a custom grind from Geoff, Patrick G or Brian Tooley...
The 212/218 is not optimal for the 4.8/5.3 and neither is the 220r, advancements have been made. Benefit from them.
Or go the "proven" route or have the correct cam for the job and be done with it. What to the fast guys do? Custom grinds, I rest my case...
You go with the 212/218 you may feel you left power on the table. Go with the 220r you may not like how late the power comes in.
