So, of the two Comp 212/218's, what are the advantages of the lower lift & 114 LSA vs the high lift & 115 LSA? I'm guessing the stock pushrods willl be fine with this combo? I do plan on using the 918 springs.

I think I just wasted $490 by having nelson tune it, instead of someone local.
Keep the LSA on the high end, 114 or 115 will be fine. Either of the 212/218's will be fine. The higher lift cam should make a bit more up high. Stock rods will be alright. But its a good idea to get some TR hardened rods and put them in while you have the valve covers off. Its easy and they are 100 bucks. I can give you a hand sometime if you need!

You didnt waste your money dude.

I want to order my parts tommorow. Is there anything else that I need besides the 918 springs? Do I need new retainers, locks, etc. I don't want to skimp by, but I also don't want to waste money on parts that I don't really need. Thanks for the offer. I might take you up on it.

I saw a truck alot like yours at about 10 this morning on 69 northbound going over 119th. The grill caught my eye from a mile away. It was really clean.

If your truck is pretty new all you really need is the springs. You can use the stock retainers and locks. All I would say you need is pushrods and your set.

I was headed to work about that time this morning. Might have been me. I work off 7th street.

Who has the best prices? I haven't seen the cam cheaper than $360.

At least you don't have to drive down there during rush hour. I'd hate sitting in that mess at the 35 interchange with the new bridge construction. We just bought a new building, so I'm across the street from JCCC now. I miss watching all the secretaries running around the track at corporate woods.
