Tradin out the Flowmasters
#1
I've been reading on here and everybody seems to say that flowmasters don't flow very well and to get some magnaflows. Well the mufflers i have on here now r 40 series delta flow, they sound good, but they actually get quieter as the rpm's get higher. I'm wanting a muffler that will flow better, not too quiet at idle, but i want to be able to hear it when i'm in the truck w/the windows up. The setup i have now is no cats, into an x-pipe , and i have tips out the sides behind the tire. I just want to take the flowmasters off and replace them with magnaflow. Any suggestions or part #'s will help. Also, one more thing, the throttle body bypass. How many HP that give ya? any? or does it just keep u from losing as much when it heats up, just curious.

I have a Magnaflow muffler! To be honest! I think it sounds like $hit! It is just loud! I dumped it & I think I should have left the pipe on from the back! Because I can tell I lost some low end Get up & go! I am going to go the the Super 40 Seri's Flowmaster! I know they don't flow worth a crap! But I love the sound of Flows!

I have a pair of Borlas ProXS and their sound is awsome. Is not loud though, if you want loud you need to remove the cats. They have a deep bass like sound when idleing and a powerful rumble at WOT. Plus they are light, straight-thru design, and rust-free.
Good quality.

SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. swapping a muffler really doesnt give you much power. especially one performance muffler for another. you even said you like the sound of the flowmasters. so keep them.
