Someone please try & help me,here's what I have,30 over 350,10:1 flat tops,292 comp cam ( 501 lift ) Edelbrock Rpm intake,msd ignition,hedman headers,demon 625 carb,40 series flowmasters,Edelbrock heads 64cc 185 runners,the problem that I think I have is maybe I overestimated what kinda horsepower I would have,I'm still running 4l60e with 2500 stall & 342's in the rear,the damn thing just doesn't seem to have enough umph !! Any ideas ?? Thanks !!!!

You running a wideband at all to see if you are doing good on fueling?

It might be rich or lean and robbing horsepower.

It does seem a little rich,I wasn't running a thermostat so I put one in yesterday so it would be fully up to temp, started both mixture screws @ 1 1/2 turns out then slowly turned them until it changed the tune them backed off till it smoothed out, wasn't as bad as far as running rich but I think it should be stouter than what it is,kinda let down as I have a lot of money & time in it

The cam is rated to have power between 2500 and 6500. Does it feel like it goes pretty good in that area?

Sometimes those flat tappet cams will flatten out if the lifter bores are sticky or if the cam wasn't lubed well enough on first start up. Does it feel like it runs smooth when you floor it or is it kinda sputtery?

No sputters,I put plenty of moly lube on the cam, runs smooth no misses just don't throw my head back lol
Maybe the gearing is the problem ?
