Hope you get it resolved.
My ABS makes me feel like im on a washboarded road when I hit it (no matter how hard/soft). Replaced rotors and pads, and still no help...I think my motor is going out.

black04silverado, your problem sounds like a bad ABS pump or a bad transmission speed sensor. Did the truck throw any codes?

Modern_Muscle, sounds to me like you have a bad wheel speed sensor causing a constant unnecessary ABS activation. Check each sensor for fraid/loose/corroded wiring.....after that you will have to replace them.

Yea, sounds like Modern_Muscle's problem is speed sensor related. My buddy had a similar problem in his 03 HD, and I had him remove and clean the front speed sensors and it cured his constant ABS activation.

black04silverado, you need to get the right kind of scan tool on there to retrieve ABS codes, a generic OBDII scanner won't do it. Something like a TechII or other capable scan tool is necessary.

If you had the right scan tool and still didn't get any codes, the ABS module may be faulty. There's a guy at modulemaster.com (google it, I'm not 100% sure of the address), who repairs the ABS modules for around $100...if that's your issue.

There's a ground that's common to corossion, I believe it's on the driver's side frame rail or something...hopefully someone will chime in with the exact location. If lights are coming on by themselves though, I'd think that a short or water in a junction block or in a connector would be something I'd be trying to troubleshoot.
