I too, dont wanna hijack your thread but is the flowmaster you are taking off any good, to put on something else? I have a 99 NBS GMC 4x4 and have been looking for a cat-back set up used but havnt had any luck. Might just put a muffler on the stock pipes.

yea it is good, nothing wrong with it, but i was gonna give it to my sister for her tahoe. to be honost, buying a used muffler isn't worth the shipping cost. you can get new for the same price including shipping

i know my flowmaster is quiet at idle. and screams at wot. almost like it is about to blow out the muffler it is screaming so hard. only problem is, the scream doesn't sound deep, just a scream. hard to explain. it sounds more like a mustang at wot than a truck
mine just sounds like it is pushing air really fast. its a hiss, not very deep, i like it but now that i cut the cats it is really raspy. it sorta reminds me of parish's old truck when i had my cats on.
