Need to get rid of the glasspack on my truck. How would that Borla ProXS Sound compared to my glasspack? Does anybody have a link to a sound clip of the ProXS on a 5.3?? I want a bit more rasp and noise that what I have now. Any suggestions??

 

Go with some Magnaflow mufflers
they have a great sound and flow really nice

 

I have a pair of them running on my trucks exhaust. When my truck is idleing, they have a deep tone, but they are not loud. At WOT they sound nice, but like I said before, they aint loud. They are a deep sounding quiet. They flow really well too. Good sounding mufflers if you dont want to get noticed while speeding.

 

Anybody have some audio of these???

hell yea I love, them. They sound ALOT better in real life rather than the video. I like them because it dosent sound like a lawn mower redneck wagon, or like ear piercing rice! I think they are a quite, mellow muffler at startup.. as you get into the throttle more, they sound deeper-throatier.

That XS sounds pretty good!! Kinda sounds like its louder than my current setup at idle. Which part # did you get when you set your exhaust up?? I have a mig welder, so all I really need to do is order the muffler and weld it in.

 

I have tue duels and I used to have the Borla proxs mufflers but they were not near loud enough for me so I got magnaflow 4inch round 14 inch long stainless mufflers and they sound bad ***.Nice deep growl at an idle and low rpm,but when I step on it it is loud and mean *** hell.I love it,the harder I get on it the louder they get.
