Default Boring an Aluminum 5.3L

Has anybody tried to or heard of anybody boring a L33 aluminum block out to 5.7 specification? Would it be cheaper just to buy an LS6 block (still need to go to the machine shop) or work the one I have?

It might be cheaper to buy just an LS1 block, since you have to have the sleeves pulled, bored, and then new sleeves put in.

I think a new block since you wont have as much down time for the swap.

I like the idea of using the block you already have considering it's the HO aluminum block. But i might be a little partial to the L33

go with the aluminum its lighter, just sounds like a bad *** combo. Cuz if I do a 5.7 it'll most likely be out of a iron 4.8 haha
