Default Boring a 5.3L Block

Can a 5.3L cast-iron block be bored out to the same limits as a 6.0L cast-iron block? If not, what are the limits on the 5.3L?

No to the 6.0L limits and check this thread for the rest of your question.

Tried them out. The Magencor LS1 wires I had seemed a little too short for my taste. Kind of felt that they were too tight and might lose contact. I stayed with the Magnacor 5.3L wires and just put on some wire connectors.

PS-thanks for the link. I've seen the thread before but just forgot about it.

Thanks,
Gregg
