Joe Gibbs Performance?
I went to Lone Star Chevy today to drop my friend off to get his Avalanche, so I did the GM hot button thing ('04 Impala SS) and didn't win of course. As I was leaving I saw a three minute video of Bob Gill (former Redskins coach and Nascar guy) is gonna crank out some S/C Silverados and Tahoes(?) in conjunction with GM. As far as specs I remember it was 395HP, 425TQ, 0-60 in just over 5 seconds, 60-0 in 125 feet.
First I've heard of this, anyone wanna fill me in?

yes its the joe gibbs, but unless yuou want to spend 38k for a regular cab or 40+ on ext. cab dont count on it. Their really nothing that special. supercharged black truck with a few addons. If your going to spend that money go to chapman super trucks and save 10k for a better setup.

Ok, there are couple of posts I have read about the Joe Gibbs truck on other forums. It has been having problems, blowing the tranny, and rear end. I guess they do not beef up the rear end or the tranny enough to handle the Magnacharger truck. They are doing the same thing a lot of companies do, slap on a power adder, but not strengthen the chasis to handle the power. I heard that they will warrenty it though, but you are not done after spending like $36000 for a standard cab, and there are no discounts on that truck either. So it comes down to, do it yourself!

yeah they warranty it but gettting that warranty done anywhere, I dont think so. Plus I believe they have a deductible. It's all out dont buy it and waste your money.
