Just a Q. Why did Ben sell his kit? I emailed him but never heard back. Sam

 

Ben Sold it as he Blew up his engine
and Didn't wanna mess with it anymore
I think been had a few bucks <had 2 supercharged BMW's i think >so he couldn't have been bothered to mess around with it

ben just got rid of it cuz he blew up the motor...and warrantied it...last itme i talked to him (about a week ago) he was thinking about another FI setup for his new motor he has a few more cubes now...

 

I should have bought that kit. I was first in line, but knew I had an LQ9 waiting. I wasn't sure about the 10:1 compression and the procharger. But, I didn't want to be breaking into a virgin LQ9. Oh well.

Sounds like that procharger has killed it second engine (glad it wasn't mine).

 

yeah this kits been kickin our motors asses but lets see if it can take on the LQ4 i got in store for it! ben practically gave this kit away to me it was a really good deal...hes a really nice guy too he helped a lot on my install!

 

It was a hell of a price. Thats why I'm stupid for not buying it.

 

Ben's a cool dude. He sent me his cell # and told me to call him anytime for questions when I got my kit. Haven't heard from him in a long time though.
