Default BLOWN MOTOR

okay so most of u have read how i blew up my motor!
so heres what i got , i got a blown 5.3, a procharger kit,42 lb injectors, ls1 edit, and some ASMs, i went into this wanting a mid 13 second daily driver .. maybe faster if i can actually get it to reliably give me those numbers... what do you guys think i should do to get there?.... i have some ideas all ready but aparantly i was wrong when i tried to do this...... so i wanna hear what u guys would do , i dont really wanna sell the kit, but i want reliability (i dont want to blow up another motor any time soon at all!) and if i need to sell the kit to get mod money for an N/A i would so im open to ideas,
i just want my damn truck to run again! and get some 13s consistantly .. i know all of you have your projects in your head dont worry i dont want your top secret plan..... i just want some much needed advice...
oh BTW this is a 2WD standard cab 3.73 with a G80 stock 4l60e

If you dont want to do the FI anymore then you cant go wrong with a 6.0 swap, get a shortblock, drop your heads on it with a little work, and a cam, you will be happily into the 13s that way, that may be cheaper than rebuilding your motor. or you could rebuild yours, it may be more expensive but you would probably end up with a stronger motor.

Also get rid of the G80 and get something better, and do 4.10s too, unless youd rather have the highway gear

If you do decide to get rid of the blower, let me know

Didn't you get this procharger from Ben Tickner? If you sell it, I'd like to have a shot at it.

Yeah this is Ben's old kit... what do you guys think about an LQ4 with a cam keep the kit 3000 stall Electric fans...Eaton but keep the 3.73 Built tranny...tha should put me in the 13s right? what would i have to do to an LQ9 to get into the 13s N/a? i dont want to rebuild mine.... id rather swap for a 6.0....what about and LS1 or LS6 swap not a smart idea? if i did a swap id like to keep it simple soem kind of direct drop in.....what kinda motor could i spray on? i dont really want the nitrous but i am willing to try anything... if i get rid of it ill let you guys know my kit is complete now with the injectors ill still proabbly build a nice manderal intake while its down...th reason i blew it up its cuz i abused it b4 it was ready i made too many mistakes i think if i do it over it will be alot diffrent....i dont want too much down time so lets hear some more ideas!!!!

I think the 02 LS6 cam would be a great cam for a blower application, not everyone agrees but nobody has really tried it yet, im going to whenever I get all of it together.

As far as a good N/A cam, i cant help you there because i never really looked into it, what do you use your truck for? do you tow or anything? all that stuff will make a big difference in cam choice

13's? with traction i would say 12's all day long and with a little 100octane and a pully change some high 11's, that would be a prety bad *** set up.

Stick with the Procharger. Tuning and fuel is how it is done. A 6.0 with the blower and a Z06 cam would be great. Sorry to hear about the motor, I have had one go myself.
