Default Block Weight?

What's the difference in weight between a 6.0L iron and a 5.3L iron block? Anything? Thanks

The 6.0 and the 5.3 iron blocks weigh the same. 90lb difference is between the aluminum and iron block.

No they are definitely not the same block. The 4.8 and 5.3 are the same though. The 6.0 has a larger 4.00 in. bore. Maybe you were thinking of the 5.3 which can be bored out to 4.903 in. to make it a 5.7, the same as an LS1.
