Default Bigger Injectors?

Forgive me if this has come up 1000 times before. I've got a high mileage 5.3 in my truck, stock except for headers and a cut out that ain't wired yet. Finally figured out how to scan and log and found my WOT ignition advance is a low 24 degrees and above 4900 rpms my injector duty cycle is 97%. Research tells me 27 to 28 degrees is about right, and idc over 80 to 85 is too much. I haven't started tuning yet, and I also plan to bolt in my shiny nitrous bottle and give my dog an extra 125 horsepower. Should I invest in bigger injectors now, or let it get up to 120% like I see some folks do? Thanks in advance.

Are you using a wideband? What is your A/F?
If not,I would personally invest in that as well.
If you are running rich, your injector pulse width will increase, hench your IDC!!

I am not! I was thinking about getting a wb for tuning, but that's a good bit of logic! OK, that's next on the list!

I am with Wheatley on this. I would bet that you are pig rich at WOT thus causing that high IDC.

Also do yourself a huge favor and definately get a good wideband because you cannot accurately tune WOT without one, period.
