The 224r is a nice cam but you would have to swap your stall for at least a 3200...

Would it be ok for now w/2500 stall I'm sure from a dig it's going to suck a$$ but I'm on the highway 90% of the time. Would 3.42 be ok should I go w3.73 or 4.10

Just so you know, a TSP 224r is a Comp Cam, all of TSP's cams are ground by Comp, they use Comp XER lobes. FWIW, I've become a fairly anti-Comp guy myself, but I don't believe that their cams have been having any problems lately...that and their hardened pushrods seem to be OK, but that's it as far as I know.

224 with a 2500 and 3:42s = complete dog ***.

a lot of guys feel a 3000-3200 is too small even with 4:10s.

im on "pt mobile" so i cant see your sig, mind posting up the engine, mods, future mods?

So should I go with comps xr275hr-12 would this b better for the setup I have and when I do race it from a 30-40 roll Cus it already sucks from a dig with the cam I already have.
5.3 full bolt ons, comp cams 918s, titanium retainers, 7.4 chrommoly pushrods, Performabuilt Lvl 2 w/2500 stall, eaton LSD, 3/4 belltech drop kit sitting on stock 17s w/hankooks 275/60-17
Future mod 6.0 swap w/Maggie, Performabuilt 4l80e

Am I wasting my time thinking bout putting a cam in? Should I just get some heads I'm sure I'll have to get 8.1l injectors if I do. Should I do this or save my money for the swap?

Well the maggie would want one style of cam and the 6.0 would want another profile. So just wait if your serious about upgrading the power plant later.
