Thanks, Yelo, but I must confess I got mucho info from the F-body guys before turning the machine shop loose. Plus, the whole long block was pretty cheap to start with so there was not as much to lose if I swiss cheesed the block.
Yep, your numbers should come out true. The particular block I have checked out OK after the bore work. Hopefully the casting work at GM is close if others want to go down that route.
Now all we need is to get Lunati and Eagle to start dropping the prices on their stroker kits and we'll be hummin' and strummin' in the trucks!

O ok, I think the 02 Ls6's are rated at 405 and then 01's and 00's are 385 if I am not mistaken, but somebody correct me if I am wrong. If there is that much difference between them I may go with the more rare ls6 if I can get a hold of one.
