Default Would this be a good camshaft?

I want a performance camshaft in my whipplecharged 6.0L. Is this a good one to go with? If not, what would be?

looks like it will be a torque monster with a Whipple. I would go with something with a little more lift and duration. The lobe seperation (lsa) is right on though.
I run the '02LS6 cam and like it alot. If I could have gotten something on a 115lsa I think it would have been a little bit better to keep more power down low. The '02 LS6 cam seems to reach max efficiency around where I shift, 5700rpm.

Not sure but that may be what you already have. If not, it isn't enough different to justify the expense and trouble of changing. I went from a stock 6 liter cam to a 2002 LS6 and didn't pick up any performance at the track.

DanaliHD -

Saw your post and wanted to let you know that I have a custom grind Comp Cam 214/222 .559/.566 115+4 which may be just what you are looking for. I also have a set of Manley Springs w/ Titanium Retainers to handle the added lift. These parts are new, never run. I was going to use them w/ the whipple I used to run, but have gone w/ a NA motor. These parts are sitting in my garage. Got them thru Texas Speed.

PM me if you are interested & we can discuss the particulars.

Either way L-Eater got it right when he said that if you are going to go thru the hassle of changing your cam, you really need to get something a lot larger than that one on Ebay.
