best style cam?

Default best style cam?

Do these motors like single pattern cams, split ??
comparing the LSr 215/223 .604/.610 112+7
OR
TSP 220 .581 112+2

Split, in almost every circumstance. In stock form, the exhaust flows around 70 % of the intake value, (at least on 243 heads) so the extra exhaust duration is needed. Unless you have a completely unrestricted exhaust (LT, cat-less, dual setup) you're not going to reap the benefits of a single pattern.

Well i've seen good dyno's of the single pattern 220 cams. I'm gonna run lt's, catless, single 3" into magnaflow, getting a valve job and a bowl job done on heads.

So your saying to go with the LSr split?

Comp said single pattern cams were good mid-range cams
