Just purchased an 05 Sierra Denalli with the 6.0 345 hp engine. I've used airaid intakes on the last few vehicles, but wondering if there is a better one out there that utilizes outside cooler air, rather than that hot air under the hood?

 

oh man theres alot out there. Some say, Airraid, K&N, others say, outlaw or UDP. I would say K&N only b/c of hte fact there a respected comapny that I trust.

 

dont lose sleep over it. they're all about the same. some populars are k&n, volant, air aid, and upd. i have upd. if you want to save lots of money you can make a home made brew...

do a search for home made intakes and youll get some good ideas to save money for more mods.

 

I've had K&N and Volant. I like the Volant better.

 

Volant is going to pull cooler are into your truck. I will be getting a volant when I decidde to go all the way and spend the big money on an intake.

 

i'd go with the outlaw but if you want tried and true just pick up the K&N...I was not impressed with the volant on my SD but as I understand it they've redesigned it.
