I had an Olds Cutlass Diesel
that I put two Optima Red Top's in 1992. One died after 3 or 4 years, but the other is still going. It has been through a few vehicles. I guess it is just luck of the draw.

i have the yellow top optima. i have had it for 5 years and it has been in 3 different cars it wont die haha. i have ran it dead like 3 or 4 times and it is still good.
used to use them in our race car too. i will always stick with the yellow top.

Interstates and delco's are both good...
I always get money's worth on the delco batteries. I think I got about 5 or 6 years out of the OEM Delco in there. I put another one in there to replace it and its about 2-3 years old and never had a problem...
Die Hards DO just that... I had one in the suburban and after the 2 years it started having Issues properly holding a charge. After 2 years they don't replace them they Pro rate them towards another one... any ways It's a door stop now and I put a Delco back in to replace it. Funny thing is my cost on a delco is cheaper then an interstate.
