Alright, I'll be having my Crank Pulley, E-fans, and 130A Alternator installed soon. I was wondering what belt would work with the reduced crank pulley/bigger alternator set-up? I haven't received the alternator yet, it should be here in the mail by the beginning of next week.
Would the ASP belt that come with the pulley work?
Would the stock size work?
Or would I need a completly different size?
I remember 01 Thunder telling me I needed the 6.0 belt, but I can't remember if he has just the crank pulley.

You may have to go with trial and error. I tried to put on the belt that ASP recommended for the underdrive pulley and the overdrive alternator. It was about half an inch too short. Probably due to the fact that my 6.0 has the 145 amp alternator. I just returned the short belt and picked up one that was an inch longer and it works fine. ASP has a belt guide on their website that will probably be a good place to start. Not sure what the diameter difference in the 130A alternator is, will also make a difference if you are using the stock, underdrive or overdrive alternator pulley. The number for the underdrive crank and overdrive alternator is K060882. This is a 6 rib poly V belt 88 and 2 tenths inches long. The number for the underdrive crank with the underdrive alt is K060900. This is a 90 inch long belt. May take some trial and error to get the right belt since you are not going to be using the stock 105 amp alt but it shouldn't be any problems exchanging for the correct sized belts at your local auto parts store.

99SilveradoSS. Try putting it on. If the belt fits, wear it. If not just eyeball it to see how much you need and then go buy a longer or shorter whichever you need.
2ndSierra. I am please with the ASP on the Denali. Hard for me to tell sotp how it is doing. It feels like the truck is making plenty of power. We are in the middle of winter right now so its hard to find a good stretch of road that is not covered with ice. Didn't have any problems with a rcsb 4x4 Hemi the other day though

See what sucks is, I won't be doing the install, a performance shop will be. I don't know how to take the belt off or anything. I got the alternator in the mail yesterday, it looks bigger than the stock one.

Okay, then just send a couple of belts along with it. Probably just take the one ASP sent and then one another inch or so longer. Should do the trick at lease should get you out of the shop and to the auto store.
