Default Crank pulley

Just wondering since ASP created a smaller crank pulley and it created more noticeable hp, could you use and even smaller pulley like the size of the original alt. pulley? I'm not sure if it would work because then the alt. pulley would have to be even smaller to keep up the voltage, right? Have any of you guys done this or know how it could be done? If you could pull it off I bet you could notice a very nice hp increase. Just a thought.

Are you talking about the crank pulley? If so, you would have no HP at all if you removed the pulley. It makes the crank rotate. Crank no turn, Truck no go.

Not sure about a smaller than ASP crank pulley.

In theory, I am sure an even smaller pulley would yield more hp but I am sure ASP did their homework as far as to how small they can go without dramatically affecting your alt,a/c, and power sterring.

You also have to think about you cooling system... Also if it were to get too small you would probably run into belt slipage problems like the SC guys do on their blower pullies.
