ya see thats what i was thinking too. it shouldnt matter...thinking i may need to order another computer but im not sure yet..

no the computer is tuned to the new engine. i had Justin at Blackbear tune it for me

edit: im not that stupid Matt haha

did you mess with the screw on the throttle body or drill out the hole? maybe reset your tps and do the idle relearn.

no the idle screw is set fine on the throttle body.

whats the idle relearn? never heard of that

i looked it up here once. i think you put on the e brake and let it idle for 5 mins in drive then let it idle for 5 in park. might want to look it up. and you can unplug your tps sensor and turn the ignition on for a min then plug it back in... again im not positive

yeah, i just wanted to make sure. have you spoke with justin then? maybe he can help you diagnose the problem.

oh ok man

and i am begining to think it is the throttle body though..i had it sent off to get P&P last year while i was building this motor.

kinda makes me wonder if something he did while porting it is making it demand more air than needed

so i got a buddy that has an extra throttle body and i am gonna try it out tomorrow and maybe see if thats it

you guys think that the reason why it is dying on me could be the injectors? i have 8.1 marines on there but told Justin to have them tuned for that. maybe he missed or forgot to tune them? cause it sure is dumping a lot of fuel into the engine and the intake is sucking in a lot of air. any suggestions??
