Nice gains. With only a tr224 cam in my single cab, i didnt figure a swap to a fast would be worth the expense. For a fast 90, I would need to replace or relocate some parts (more of a hassle) and for a fast 102 i felt i needed more cam, etc. This TBSS intake swap post impressed me enough. I placed it on my wish list and when I commented to my mechanic I was looking for one, he walked me over to a side of the garage and said like this one...yeah I got me one that quick and he is putting a fast 90 cable driven tb for my truck with 36 lb injectors. should work great...cant wait.

im also running the TBSS intake from an 06 TBSS with the rails/ev6 connectors and have the ls2 fuel injectors/ 90mm on my 5.3L

there was a thread i read a while back that the NBS and the TBSS intakes are indeed NOT the same, i will try and look for it and post it... it states that the TBSS are a tad wider/larger than the NBS intakes, but are quite similar....

i talked to a guy a while back who actually ports these intakes and "plastic welds" them back together, naming it "frankenstein" could use for N20 but not recommended for FI...its a shame i lost his #...it was like $600 for a port match of the intake and the TB. heres a pic of his work.

That would be me... I do them a little different now, though. The top comes off in one piece and I think we're good to go on FI now. It's a lot more than a port match going on inside

I used the TBSS fuel rails and a corvette fuel filter to deal with the return and fpr since I didn't know where to buy or want to make a new crossover.

So according to you, all you need is a intake, rails, and a vette fuel filter and the truck injectors work fine? What about sensors? Do you just swap them over from your old intake?
