Well I'm getting ready to do another cam swap. I just want to know what tool to use to remove the asp underdrive pulley. I used a 3 jaw puller to get the stock one off. I did a search and couldnt find out what tool to use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes thats excatly right, use the threaded holes to pull it off. I made a lil tool that will slide in the crank to hole back up on the puller and swapping pulleys it nothing now.. Specially wit a newer models that dont have manuel fans.

If the ASP has the 3 threaded holes, you should be able to use the conventional style puller

The Chrysler/GM three arm puller works best on the factory pulley, although many have used standard three arm pullers with good success...This is the one I have which is made by OTC IIRC...

That excatly right.. What are you guys using to take the pulley bolt on and off?? A big *** impact?? Cuz the way chevy recommends putting the pulley on is weird..Have to tighten the bolt up, back of, tighten up, back off and to tighten it up for good is some crazy ftlb's of torque. Just wondering what you guys are using cuz i burnt up a electric impact not long ago cuz i didnt have a big pheumatic impact...
