]The weather for us north-east guys is the problem. You guys in nice sunny Texas and Louisianna don't suffer from the same weather as we do. That is my thought.
Damn salt

For the price of the ASM's that would really burn my ***! I had a problem on my small block Chevy powered Olds before where a set of coated headers started rusting. I sandblasted them to bare metal, and then made real sure not to even touch them with bare hands. I wiped them down real good with acetone, and then spray painted them with VHT high temp paint. I put several coats on and it was going on the same color as the bare headers, it was like an aluminum color. Anyway, the paint held up for over 4 years with NO problems. I think most of the success was due to the preparation that I went through. Like I said, it is important to wipe them down and not even touch them with your bare hands, as oils from your fingerprints and such will affect the results. Just an idea in case ASM doesn't offer any help...which they should. Those headers look like they are 4-5 years old!

looks like the coating sucks on those headers.. arent their some old threads in here about ASM and their coating sucking big time? Some get great headers though, so dont get me wrong.

I have SLP's that are CC coated and they have 20k on them.. no rust or etc and im down here in northern Va(almost same weather as you PA guys).

I wouldnt think the weather woulda cause that... looks like the coating was very thin in areas or something

I had heard of this problem with the Pacesetters so I ordered mine Non-Coated and had them coated. Might be worth to bypass Pacesetter even if they will do it for free and have them coated by a reputable coating shop..

Maybe just give ASM a call and see what they'll do, can't hurt.
In Mn everything rusts and coating may help for a while but it seems like throwing money away. I was hoping SuperMaxx was the solution but even these rust. I hope its surface rust or theres no hope. Unless u live with salt u just dont understand. Seems weird tho sinces the truck has been stored in the winter. I have wondered if companies would honor warrantys for the elements.

Thats why Im glad I live in sunny(well most of the time till a tropical storm or hurricane kicks our a$$) Texas. I would think for over a grand the dynatechs would have an indestructible coating.

Hardly any rust on mine and going on 2 years with them. You really have to look very close to find the spots.

Mine are a year old with about 5-6K on them and were driven through the winter. My flanges look worse than yours and the underside of my passenger collector is much worse. Next time I have the truck up in the air I'll take some more pictures.

Let me know if yo get a response from ASM.

I just bought a STS on EBAY from a guy in Pennsylvania. The exhaust parts are HPC coated and they are already rusting on the surface. The kit was new in November so it has only been on the road 5 months and 5000 miles according to the seller. Must be a pretty corrosive area just like here in New Brunswick.

The tail pipe on my magnaflow is SS and it is already rusty on the surface and I just installed it January 20, 2005. The muffler case and tip are fine but the stainless tubing is rusting.

The Rust Belt.
