Default Holy Sheep$%#@ Batman!

Got a little disappointed couple weekends ago with my 1/4 mile times and motivated me to install my new cam last weekend that I had lying around for couple months. Tore back into the valve train today after reading about the need to rotate the engine 180 and going back through the rockers and re-torquing them. I hadn't, and being a perfectionist...another story Also added a bit of locktite to the bolts.

Couple days ago I decided to add 3 degrees of timing toward the top end of the power curve. Did some logging and all looked well. No more KR than the occasional 1-2 degrees I see sometimes. I'm now at 20 degrees total advance WOT. Drops to 18.5 sometimes? No idea why... yet.. For you Radix guys what total timing have you wound up with. I've read somewhere between 20 and 22 for 8 psi. I'm now at 6.5 psi boost.

Anyway took a ride and found a launch spot to see how she pulled. I really haven't pushed her hard out of the hole since the cam install. Brake her as hard as I can and pulled about 3 psi boost before the brakes wouldn't hold her anymore. Between the new cam, timing and the 40 degree weather today she pulled like a **** On dry pavement right after the weight shift of the launch I actually felt it turn over the front passenger wheel. It has never done that before. Much more torque steer in the front end through first. I'm freakin giddy with excitement.... can you tell?

Now if I can get a torque converter into it. I'll finally get to break this transmission and get what I want.

I am glad everything is going well for you, I am only running 17 degrees on the stock pulley. On the stock magnacharger tune it was only 14 degrees and would drop to 4 during shifts. I think I need to play with it more to see much timing it likes, but I haven't got to play with my truck in almost two weeks

My radix tune came at 17 degrees. Just now touching it. +3 to my present 20. What engine you have? Great e/t's you are running. Do you know what your truck weighs?
