Default Arizona headers - updates

Two weeks ago, I posted up my efforts to open up a set of ASM headers from the default 2.5" collector to a full 3" collector:

Here are some in progress shots. Full 3" ball and socket connection used instead of the typical 3 bolt flange. No more leaking gaskets or lost bolts. All mandrel 3" exhaust tubing. The headers mated up perfectly. I think the ASM headers are way better now than the way they came in stock form. This is one slick exhaust.

What does everyone else think?

Looks good. Now that the proto-type is done, send them to me and I will make sure they fit and perform right <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Nice work. If AS&M sees those photos you'll be receiving a job offer.

Nice work! Too bad they don't come like that. I would prefer 3inch collectors too but AS&M said they would have to 'do a run' and make 20 sets in order to do so.

At this point, its just a ceramic paint over steel tubing. It looks pretty good considering it came out of a rattle can. Once its done, all the welds will be ground and polished and its all going to get ceramic coated.
