Crappy iPhone idle clip, how it sits right now. Been raining here lately, no traction on these wet roads.

What do you think of the smell without the cats? Does it bother you at all?

No smell here. Maybe there's something in your gas there? Or maybe your tune is rich? I've read alot about this, and was initially concerned by what others had posted. But I decided, **** it. No cats. No smell either.

I tuned mine to run 14.6-15.0 at idle or low/no load situations. What's your AFR at idle?

Wow that sounds like a muscle car ( old school big block )

I'd like to hear it in person. I'd be nervous at a red light if i heard your truck pull up!

Sounds good man.

Thanks Tim. Haven't had any takers yet. I was hoping that the big D-Max muffler would be a little more "stealthy" than it is. I've been looking for something a little more stealthy in a 4" large case muffler. Not enough room between the y-pipe and the muffler to add another muffer or resonator, to that's out.

One of these days, I'll try to get a WOT vid to post up. All I can say is, it's NASTY and LOUD!

My wideband shows around 14.8- 15.1 at idle and the exhaust fumes choke me out! I'm wondering if my wideband sensor is too far back for an accurate read. It's about 9 inches behind the collector.

I'd guess that your odor is likely caused by some type of additive in your gas. Try changing filling stations to see if there's any difference. Or maybe Canada gas has maple syrup in it?

I just put a 4" by 14" magnaflow in front of my edelbrock 4" muffler. toned it down a lot and got rid of all the drone at ~1500. was not easy to fit though.

I hear ya on the stealthy part. You figure a muffler the size of a trash can would calm the sound down some, but it doesn't Mine has got louder, guess its getting broke in now..
