Yes, I did. When you asked, I couldn't remember if I posted up about it, so I went back and looked. It did help with the wierd noise it was making, but didn't do anything for the drone. Here's the post.
Thanks, looking forward to hearing it. If you find a part number too, I'm interested. This current setup is droning loud as hell at 1800 rpm, which is 55 mph. 50 mph and slower is okay, and above 60 mph is okay. Kinda funny though, because my previous setup "drone zone" was at 2200 rpm. The rest of the time, it's fairly quiet at light throttle, and loud as **** at 30% throttle or more.
Here's how the tailpipe turned out. It did fix the odd sounding air noise leaving the pipe at idle and while driving.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm curious if you 4" guys found a way to get the noise under control. If you were doing it again, would you go 4", or step down to a 3.5?
It's funny, I used the search button but had a hard time digging up any other threads.

Nothing you do is going to be quiet per say with a open 4'' muffler. Here is a few vids of my set up, no converters, HUGH diesel muffler. A idle shot out the back and inside normal drive vid. If your easy on it up the beltway it isn't horribly loud.
