To answer your question, just like any other header, these have header tick. Not as bad as the Pacesetters though because the SS on these is thicker. But these headers do NOT have that hissing sound that you get under the cab (you know what I'm talking about). The ball and socket joints on these headers are as good as it gets. OEM does not use slip joints because they all leak. It's impossible to get a perfect seal with a slip joint and especially at the collector where the exhaust pressure is very high, one even miniscule leak will drive you crazy.

The ARH system is not without flaws though. 1 as I already stated are the exhaust gaskets that come with the kit. Graphite will disintegrate and fall apart over time. Not to mention a possible mess when removing them. Either not include these in the kit and reduce the cost or include OEM MLS gaskets. The other thing is to have the Y pipe as all 1 piece like OEM. Other than that I'm very happy with the headers.

Did you request these without the EGR connection or do all ARH headers come without the EGR connection? I ordered a set and am worried they will come without the EGR connection.
